Saw Street Kings - that new bad cop/bad cop movie starring Keanu Reeves and Forest Whitaker - tonight. I commented to a fellow critic that it seemed to have been written in 1988 to capitalize on the Lethal Weapon franchise. So. I was driving around, running errands that are vitally important to the continued health and prosperity of our glorious Republic, when I heard a phrase in a podcast that somehow struck me as being suitable for the title of a 1970's cop show.
